About Bulletin Board
A pin surface that still looks right in ten years
Bulletin Board is solid natural linoleum on a jute backing — linseed oil, pine rosin, wood flour and natural pigments pressed into a warm, matte, gently flecked surface. Because the colour runs through the material and the body is resilient, pin holes close over instead of crumbling the way cork and soft board do.
We supply it wherever people communicate: classrooms and corridors, hospital wards and waiting areas, offices, meeting rooms and workshops. It also makes a beautiful functional finish on walls, doors, cupboard fronts and desktops.

Installation, cleaning & maintenance
Straightforward to fit, easy to live with
For large wall areas we always recommend an experienced installer. For framed boards and panels, most joinery workshops fit Bulletin Board comfortably — and we can do the cutting and bonding for you.
- 01
Prepare the substrate
Walls or panels must be sound, dry, clean and flat. MDF or ply substrates should be conditioned in the room before bonding.
- 02
Acclimatise the material
Leave the linoleum flat in the room for at least 24 hours at normal room temperature before installation.
- 03
Bond with the correct adhesive
Use the recommended adhesive system and roller-press the full surface. We supply the adhesive and trims alongside the material.
- 04
Trim, frame and finish
Finish with timber framing, aluminium trim or a flush shadow gap. We can cut panels to size before delivery.
Cleaning & care
- Dust with a soft brush or vacuum with a brush head
- Wipe marks with a damp cloth and a neutral pH cleaner
- Never use abrasive pads, bleach or strong alkaline cleaners
- Standard pins, push pins and staples all hold well
